Phở Vĩnh Ký
About This Spot
Stepping into Phở Vĩnh Ký feels like slipping into a well-worn, familiar neighborhood refuge where the hum of quiet conversations and the clatter of spoons against bowls make for an unassuming soundtrack. The pace here moves with an easy rhythm, welcoming those who come seeking something comforting and straightforward rather than flashy or curated. It’s the kind of place where the worn edges of the space add character rather than detract, and the focus clearly lies in the bowls brought to the table.
The atmosphere is quietly bustling, especially late into the night when the restaurant’s doors remain open to serve pho to late owls and night-shift workers alike. Tables fill with solo diners lost in their own thoughts, families sharing stories, and groups savoring the warmth of communal meals.
At its heart, Phở Vĩnh Ký offers an honest, down-to-earth Vietnamese dining experience centered on pho that carries a delicate balance of clear, flavorful broth and generous servings of meat and noodles. The menu reveals a thoughtful range of traditional options—from brisket to oxtail, and even more adventurous choices like fish noodle soup—served alongside comforting classics like chicken porridge or fried rice noodles.
There’s a grounded quality to the food here, reflected in bowls that arrive steaming hot and seasoned just right, inviting diners to unwind bite by bite. The thoughtful touches—extra bean sprouts, fresh herbs, and a well-measured sprinkle of scallions—show a quiet attentiveness to flavor and tradition. Despite the restaurant’s modest setting, the experience feels genuine, a simple pleasure made all the richer by the ease of service and the consistency that keeps locals coming back week after week.
Phở Vĩnh Ký is not about polished aesthetics or bustling crowds but about providing a steady, reliably good bowl of pho that feels like a small, welcoming discovery tucked into the fabric of Westminster. It’s a place to slow down, savor, and appreciate the quiet joys of an unpretentious meal shared among everyday moments.

Great tasting pho at superb value! The place itself is kind of rundown but for pho at only $9 for the LARGE is a cheap price, especially when the pho itself is delicious. You might have a bit of trouble since the workers here aren't too well versed in English.

One of my Favorite PHO places, I live nearby and they are the perfect price and taste balance for weekly PHO . Always nice and take orders via phone quickly.

$8 for a decent bowl ( i ordered brisket and rare steak) with decent amount of meat, good flavorful broth, gave lots of bean sprouts and sides, they even have large size pho noodles which i prefer more than the small ones. The place opens super late till 3am for suitable for late owls like me. Interior is small but who cares, still lot of tables to sit no wait! Service was standard, price is awesome, opens late like what else can u ask for right? 10/10 value. Will be back :)

Pho Vinh Ky has 4 other branches in Little Saigon, nice, clean, quiet, all have pho sale, regular $8, big bowl $10. Sale has been going on for years. They do a lot of take outs, same prices. This pho is good. The broth is tasty, not sugary sweet, with bone depth, clean, clear. I ordered a large steaming hot bowl with extra rendered fat and scallion to crank up the creamy taste. Service was quick and pleasant. This big pho bowl has the thin noodle like hu tiu. I prefer the Northern pho with thicker noodles with springy texture. It has lots of meats, rare round eye, flank, chuck, fatty brisket, tripe, tendon. You can specify any cuts you want. The brisket is chewy. I prefer more tender. I am a big eater but could only finish half, packed the rest to go. I also ordered 2 big bowls with rare eye round to go so I can eat them at home and not having to drive down. This pho quality and value is much better than average, where other shops charge $15 or more for the same bowl. A few other pho places also have $8-10 pho. Open 8 Am to 3 AM. This is a honest business that offers tasty, healthy food with very good value, recommended.

Good deal on pho! Got the combination pho, one small and one large for $8 and $10. I regret getting the large as it was a lot of food. They give you a decent amount of meat, which was great. Overall, the pho was good although they used MSG. You'll be thirty and their water is actually pretty good. Customer service...they'll just take your order, serve you the food, and you just walk yourself to the front to pay in cash only. And that's it. Not much talking involved. The parking lot isn't that big in front, but you can park on the adjacent side if needed.
